Tanis Marquette, CSP ISSP-CSP SMCP, has over 25 years of experience in EHS+S. She has worked in various levels of government and a variety of industries including food processing, wire rope, and specialty chemicals manufacturing. She has been a member of the American Society of Safety Engineering’s manufacturing practice specialty since 2001 and was most recently the practice specialty Administrator. Throughout her career, has been active in both trade and professional associations across North America and participated in the development of numerous sustainability standards, including NSF-355, NAHB/ICC-700, and UL880. She is currently Chair of the International Society of Sustainability Professional’s Resource Committee developing a white paper on Sustainability Certifications.
