Steve Hellem has provided strategic counsel to associations and coalitions on a variety of environment, energy, water, supply chain, and technology business issues. He has helped organize, support and direct the day-to-day management of coalitions and organizations, provided legislative and regulatory counsel and advocacy, and provided communications and public relations support to a wide range of large and smaller companies that have been participants in organizations that he has managed.
During the past 30 years he has served as an Associate Director of Energy, United States Chamber of Commerce; Executive Vice President of the National Environmental Development Association and four advocacy projects on Clean Air, Clean Water, RCRA and Groundwater; Executive Director, Sorptive Minerals Institute; Executive Director, Corporate Environmental Enforcement Council (CEEC); Executive Director, Human Animal Bond Research Initiative (HABRI); Executive Director, Bird Enjoyment Advantage Koalition (BEAK); Executive Director, Mission Ready Sustainability Initiative (MRSI); Executive Director, Industry Cooperative for Ozone Layer Protection (ICOLP); and Senior Counselor, The Global Sullivan Principles.
He presently serves as the Executive Director, Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP); Executive Director, Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI); Director, Environment, Health, Safety & Security Forum (EHS²); and Director, Sustainable Materials Manufacturing America (SM²A)
Steve has an A.B. in Political Science from the University of Missouri and has a J.D. from what today is the George Mason University Antonin Scalia School of Law. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the Military Policy Corp, the U.S. Army through ROTC at the University of Missouri leaving active and reserve duty in 1977 as a Captain.

Kellen Mahoney is Vice President of Navista, The Public Affairs Group. In this role, Kellen supports Navista’s clients in developing and driving programs to advance their strategic objectives. He specializes in managing and growing industry-driven associations, designing and implementing strategic plans and programs and developing collaborative forums to advance sustainability and business objectives.
Kellen serves as Director for the Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP), an industry association representing global automakers and their suppliers working together to improve environmental sustainability in the automotive industry. In this role he works with SP’s leadership to advance the vision and manage the operations of the association, while coordinating with members from across the automotive industry and supply chain to advance environmental sustainability best practice. Kellen regularly facilitates and presents in industry conferences, workshops and webinars related to current and emerging environmental sustainability issues.
Kellen has significant experience working with large and small organizations across industries and has supported a wide range of collaborative sustainability initiatives related to issues such as decarbonization, circular and sustainable materials, supply chain sustainability, water stewardship, and more. He has supported a variety of past and present Navista clients, including Alianza Verde Automotriz (AVA); Corporate Environmental Enforcement Council (CEEC); Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC); Environment Canada; Environment, Energy and Technology News (EETN); Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI); and the Mission Ready Sustainability Initiative (MRSI) and, others.
Kellen has a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park.

As Vice-President of Client Services, Shannon provides a wide range of services including but not limited to event/meeting planning, communication support, and financial management for Navista’s current and previous clients including Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP); Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI); Environment, Health, Safety & Security Forum (EHS²); Sustainable Materials Manufacturing America (SM²A); Environment, Energy and Technology News (EETN); Human Animal Bond Research Initiative (HABRI); and Bird Enjoyment Advantage Koaliton (BEAK).
Shannon is certified by MPI (Meeting Professionals International) in the area of meeting fundamentals, focusing on the building blocks of successful event planning.
As a member of PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association), Shannon participates in ongoing professional development in the following areas: Strategic Planning, Project Management, Risk Management, Financial Management, Human Resources, Stakeholder Management, Meeting and Event Design, Site Management, and Marketing to ensure that Navista conforms with industry leading standards in the areas of business events, conferences, and conventions.
Shannon graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia with a B.A. in Communications. Prior to joining Navista, she worked for FM 99.5, a local radio station in Rockville, Maryland.

Don helps foreign companies take full advantage of myriad business opportunities in Mexico. Don began his career as an environmental engineer for General Motors in the Detroit area before moving to Mexico in 2009 and serving in key leadership roles in Mexico for an American Tier 1 chemical management services provider for nearly four years in the automotive and aerospace sectors. In those leadership roles he was responsible for many key facets of their newly formed Mexican entity and operations, including serving as legal representative, working with lawyers and accountants on both sides of the border on legal and tax matters, interacting with various Mexican government agencies, negotiating supplier contracts, and overseeing human resource activities. Don is a bilingual permanent resident of Mexico.

Brent is the Founder of Earth & Water Law, former Sr. Vice President of EH&S for United Water, and former U.S. EPA Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Office of Water and Associate Administrator for Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations. Brent brings a wealth of knowledge and unique perspective to corporate EHS programs, sustainability and enterprise risk management. As a highly regarded thought leader on environmental policy and governance matters, his counsel and opinions are sought out by corporate and government leaders around the globe. Brent brings unparalleled energy and passion to the issues in a way that few do to help his clients navigate in an increasingly complex and nuanced regulatory environment.

Brendan McGinnis serves as Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Earth & Water Strategies.
He also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Earth & Water Law and Chief Operating Manager of the Water Finance Exchange.
Based in Washington, DC, his career has been extensively active in the water resources and sustainability sectors, with a strong proficiency in convening, managing complex projects, facilitating government affairs, conducting stakeholder outreach, and directing business and organizational development. He supports his clients’ goals by applying his knowledge of regulation, policy, and markets with a practical understanding of the governmental agencies, companies, and NGOs that shape and drive environmental outcomes.
From 2009-2020, Brendan served as Executive Director and Founding Member of the Water Resources Action Project, 501(c)(3) non-profit mitigating conflict in the Middle East through cross-border environmental peace-building programs for youth, with an emphasis on water resources and conservation. He continues to serve as an Advisor to the Board.
Brendan received his Master of Business Administration and B.A. in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University.

Doug is a trusted advisor, industry expert, and thought leader on environmental compliance and risk. Throughout his career, Doug has used his knowledge and creativity to lead the development of innovative approaches to ensure successful environmental risk management. Doug spent more than 20 years in the U.S. EPA’s Criminal Investigation Division in leadership roles that gave him a first-hand look at the importance of accurate data and its transformational impact in the market. As Doug began his post-EPA advisory work, he saw that reliable ESG data and tools, to measure company performance, needed to be improved. He founded Ecolumix in 2020 to address this gap in the ESG data market.

Martin Chilcott is an environmental and digital entrepreneur whose focus for over 20 years has been on disruptive business models that catalyze systemic change. Having built a successful internet consultancy in the late 1990s, Martin was convinced that web technologies would play a major role in accelerating the inevitable sustainability revolution. Martin’s next venture was 2degrees, which pioneered new ways to spread sustainability practices across global supply chains. Armed with knowledge from 12 successful years at 2degrees, Martin and his team then launched Manufacture 2030 in 2017, which is now driving progress toward decarbonization targets with thousands of suppliers in 70+ countries. In 2022, Manufacture 2030 was selected as one of the World Economic Forum’s “Technology Pioneers“, named a Gartner® Cool Vendor in the 2022 Cool Vendors™ in Supply Chain Management Technology report, and selected in the ProcureTech100 for the second year running.

Mary Beth Jordan provides sustainability strategy, management and communications consulting to corporate and non-profit clients. Prior to launching an independent consulting practice, she was senior manager with Homrich Partners for four years where she led client engagements across multiple industries including the apparel, auto and communications sectors. Her work included assessing sustainability risks and opportunities across the value chain, and leading eco-product ideation projects for clients.
Prior to joining Homrich Partners, Mary Beth was manager of corporate citizenship at Mirant, a competitive energy company. She managed the development of Mirant’s annual sustainability report, partnerships with environmental non-governmental organizations, and relationships with social and environmental stock indices. Mary Beth began her environmental career in Washington, D.C. at the American Textile Manufacturers Institute where she covered environmental policy issues for the textile industry. Later, she held positions at Navista, and served as program director of the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI).
Mary Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Minor in Environment and Human Values from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Mary Beth lives in Decatur, Georgia. She chairs the development committee of both the Board of Trustees of Cliff Valley School and The Nature Conservancy of Georgia.

With over 20 years of experience in waste-to-value, circularity, and sustainability Dawn is a business advisor for four companies: Navista, VMX International, KTON LLC and CellBlock FCS. She helps these companies develop and execute transformational growth strategies, formulate innovative market solutions, optimize sourcing, and supply chain processes and create high-performing teams.
Dawn is passionate about family, women in leadership, electrification, people, mindfulness, and Detroit Lions Football. She has incorporated all of her passions into her work, as she has demonstrated empathetic leadership, change management, and problem-solving skills in various industries, such as paper, plastics, batteries, metals, and ITAD. She has also built a reputation for quickly grasping new business models and industries, establishing strategic partnerships and alliances, and enhancing customer experience and retention. Her mission is to contribute to the global goals of resource management, energy efficiency, and environmental protection.

Linda Y. Brewer, President of T-3 Strategies LLC, has an extensive experience in multi-company settings, having developed, facilitated, and delivered as faculty for a variety of consulting multi-client programs, industry conferences, and MBA programs. Linda is an expert advisor who has worked extensively in the operationalization of ESG and Sustainability at all levels of the organization, from the ground floor to the Boardroom, with specific experience in major capital projects in mining, oil & gas, and power– in addition to her work in other industry sectors. In her work with Plan C Advisors, she works as a board advisor in Climate and Sustainability. At T-3 Strategies she collaborates with executive teams to develop and implement their sustainability business case, with a strong focus on sustainability opportunities. In the past Linda was a partner at Environmental Resources Management where she led in the development of their global sustainability practice.
